Etisalat Nigeria has launched a mobile money payment solution in conjunction with a number of banks in the country. The banks include: First Bank, GTBank, Stanbic IBTC Bank and Zenith Bank.

The service is SIM-based and is accessible via the SIM menu on your mobile phone. It works on all Etisalat SIM cards and customers are only required to register with any of the Schemes in order to start using easywallet.

Customers are not charged from their airtime for any transactions from the mobile money SIM menu.

Etisalat customers using the easywallet service will be able to pay bills, pay for goods and services,receive and send money to friends and family, send and receive money to their bank accounts, withdraw cash, top up their own airtime account or top up someone else’s and manage their bank accounts with the Etisalat EasyWallet on their Phone.

Etisalat say that EasyWallet is the first fully secure Mobile Money SIM Application offered to customers with the easywallet application installed on their SIM cards.

This unique application supports multiple languages – English, Hausa,Igbo and Yoruba and works across all makes and models of phones, smartphones and even tablet devices. Easywallet is compliant with all industry standards such as ISO-1 and guarantees adequate protection of customer information while carrying out mobile financial transactions across multiple Mobile Money schemes.

I have been receiving several mail from people asking on how to retrieve their lost, stolen or damage Etisalat sim.

Just follow my little tutorial and retrieve your Etisalat sim.

WHAT YOU NEED

1. Get a new etisalat sim card.

2. Get the number of the old/lost/stolen or
damaged etisalat line.

3. Get 3 Numbers You Call always with the old line.

4. An extra number for etisalat to contact you.

5. The New Line Serial Number.

6. The new line number.

7. The amount you load last on the old line.

8. Your email.

9. Your first & last name.

10. Your date of birth.

After getting all those requirement above, you can now visit http://www.etisalat.com.ng/ -simswap/simswap.php And enter those information there, then you click
on the submit button.

Etisalat will send you a
confirmation message to your email confirming
that they have seen your request.

in the confirmation will be:-

1. Time to expect your simswap done.

2. Review of the details that yu entered.

But the sim swap/retrieval shouldnt be more than
2days.
